Sunrise Telecom Incorporated, a provider of service verification equipment for telecommunications, cable TV, and Internet networks, is now accepting orders for its latest test set, the SunSet 10G.

Sunrise said the SunSet 10G offers a comprehensive set of features in a compact, handheld, portable test set. The SunSet 10G weighs approximately 4 pounds with a rechargeable battery pack. According to the company, an expanded color screen displays circuit status, signal status, error/alarm status, and additional information at a single glance. The test set has interfaces for 10 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 622 Mbps, and 155 Mbps optical, SONET/SDH signals. The SunSet 10G is available in a variety of configurations supporting multiple rates at both 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelength transmission.
