Superior Essex Reels Out New Fiber Line

Superior TeleCom Inc. (Quote), through its Superior Essex Communications Group, introduced today its QuickCount marking system for the TeraGain(TM) and TeraGain XT fiber optic cable product lines.

Select fiber cable sizes also now are available in the popular Reel-in-a-Box packaging. These two new features are designed to improve the user friendliness of Superior Essex premises fiber cable products. With the QuickCount feature, the cable jacket is printed with the exact number of feet remaining on the reel, officials said.

QuickCount and Reel-in-a-Box packaging are currently available for TeraGain and TeraGain XT multi-mode fiber cables in duplex, quad, and 6-fiber constructions.
